Showers Pass
IMBA Jacket
I struggle with reviews for clothing like this because there’s that much going on you don’t know where to start, I guess the best place to start is by saying 5% of the net profits go to the IMBA (International Mountain Biking Association) which I think is a great thing!!
You can read more about the IMBA here.
A lot of MTB clothing brands attempt to make jackets but not all high most marks and become popular but I think Showers Pass has done a great job with this jacket.
It’s a very well made jacket that’s extremely comfortable to wear, it’s great at keeping you warm in the colder days and cool in the early/late summer times with the help of the massive zip vents at either side of the body (I’m not sure I’ve seen any bigger vents to keep you cool than what this jacket has).
As with most Showers Pass clothing it’s a great looking bit of clothing and again I wear this jacket on most rides and when I go out for walks also as it does pretty much everything you want.
Due to the long list of features I’ve included them here so you can see for yourself.
Two things on the features list stand out to me, they’ve included 3M which tells me they were serious when putting together this jacket and wanted the best quality stuff around.
Also they’ve included an audio port in one of the pockets which are fantastic for those who love listening to music when on a ride or even a walk as I’ve found.
It could be a very popular jacket in the UK with it’s ever changing conditions but mainly damp, wet and cool, it seems purpose built for us in the UK.
The jacket also goes very well with the Shower’s Pass Cross Country DWR Shorts I also have.
If you’re still unsure about this jacket why not go onto their website and look at the reviews of the jacket there, it’s received 37 reviews with a rating of 4.8, it’s not just me that likes it then!!!
