Endura kindly supplied me with various MTB kit to keep me warm and dry in the colder months in Britain.
They arrived at a perfect time for me and for testing as I was heading out with a few friends to do a photo shoot at a local trail for TotalMTB’s 2020 jersey.
Not only had it been raining ALOT for two full days leading up to the shoot but it was forecast to be cold.
My weather app was spot on, it was a clear blue sky for the photos but a very crisp, cold and winder morning.
What a better day to test the kit, although it didn’t rain at all that day the group was so wet and there’s currently tree felling going on at Greno so there were massive puddles due to big machinery!
There was also a lot of stopping, starting and waiting around as it was a photo shoot and not a proper ride out but I was very thankful for wearing the Endura kit, the tights, long sleeve base layer and socks all worked better than I hoped.
If I hadn’t been wearing them it could have been a very long and miserable day but even with the waiting around I must say I didn’t even think about it being cold, I was just out with friends taking photos so I personally think it’s a win!!

I was quite worried about the tights because I wasn’t sure how I was going to be with them, if they got warm, sweaty and irritating but I drove to the trails, biked and drove home while wearing them and they were that comfortable I actually forgot I was wearing them, I thought they were fantastic.
I’m quite particular when it comes to my top half as I don’t like clothing riding up when you’re doing activities, it becomes highly annoying.
I did go for a size up just to make sure I didn’t have a problem and even though I did the results were again fantastic, I was lovely and warm all day.
Even though it was raining like I said early there was ole ty of puddles and surface water, this coupled with MTB tyres flicking water up still gave the waterproof trousers a challenge which they passed with flying colours.
And just for an extra test I split some drink down me (not on purpose but it was a good test) while having dinner and the drink just rolled straight of them and into the car seats.
Last but not least the socks, there was a lot of water, mud, sludge etc but my feet remained dry, warm and comfy all day!!
