Yesterday I had a tension headache which lasted all day and really wasn’t the best preparation for going to the bonanza which I was already anxious about.
I tried tablets and sleeping it off but nothing worked.
I woke up headache free but I was putting pressure on myself as a knew @tahneeseagrave, @kade_2000 and @misswinton were there and as I’m struggling to go to bike parks in Wales I wouldn’t get the opportunity to finally meet them in person.
But on the other hand I knew I was in control, I could good and leave whenever I wanted and nothing was expected of me which helps a lot.
The pressure was because I have a TotalMTB tshirt that I want signed by all pro riders I meet so I can put it on my office wall.
And also so I can have photos with them again so I can get them made into magnets to go on the white board in my office.
Everything went perfectly and I met and spoke with the riders I wanted and even got the bonus of @lauriegreenland_ and they were all awesome to meet in person.
It was great to see friends and brands I’ve not seen for a while or in person.
I was even asked to sign a tshirt myself which was a first and a very surreal moment.
TotalMTB for me is a great organisation that helps give back to the mountain biking community. Helps bring awareness to something that most people can’t see within a friend or family member. Mental health is something to be mindful about. Health mind, health life.Blake Samson
Mountain biking is vital to my mental health, and I think it's rad how TotalMTB is spreading their message and building a community around this topic. It doesn't matter who you are, everyone is going through something and knowing you're understood and supported goes a long way.Mark Matthews
It gives me great pleasure to support the TotalMTB community. These guys do so much in the global cycling community to help people that need it most in an area most people struggle to talk about. I'll always be backing TotalMTB and anyone who stands alongside them.Ben Moore
