Aussie Grit Apparel

2018 flint - Light Gilet

I could not have timed testing and reviewing Aussie Grit Apparel’s light gilet better because in the UK at the minute the weather (well like most days) doesn’t know what its doing, sun, cloud, warm, cold, dry or wet.

The beauty of the light gilet is that it packs down small so I can take it with me on a ride in a bag or backpack just incase the weather goes from glorious sunshine to winter almost torrential rain!

Most of the time I put the light gilet on before I set off and after iv got into the ride and warmed up I can easily take it off and store it somewhere.

Not only does the gilet keep your core warm (not too warm though as excess heat escapes from the vents on the back) but its also excellent at keeping the rain and wind off your body.

As with any other Aussie Grit Apparel garment it has a lot of features and tricks up its sleeve (not that its got sleeves).

I would go as far to say that its probably the most used piece Aussie Grit Apparel for the top half of your body.

Please take a closer look at the light gilet and the great company here.
